OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality outpatient care , inpatient care , focusing on a diverse patient population. As a Nurse Practitioner, you will play a vital role in patient assessment, diagnosis, and treatment while contributing to an educational environment within a teaching hospital.
Duties /Key Responsibilities:
Inpatient Care Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive assessments of hospitalized patients, including physical exams, diagnostic testing, and medical histories.
- Develop and implement treatment plans for patients in collaboration with attending physicians and specialists.
- Monitor patient progress, adjusting treatment plans as necessary to ensure optimal outcomes.
- Manage patient admissions, discharges, and transitions of care.
- Provide support to patients and families, offering education and guidance on managing hospital stays and post-discharge care.
Primary Care Responsibilities:
- Conduct routine health screenings, physical exams, and preventive health assessments.
- Diagnose and treat a wide range of common illnesses and conditions in outpatient settings.
- Develop individualized care plans to promote wellness and prevent illness.
- Manage chronic conditions, including diabetes, hypertension, and asthma, with a focus on patient education and self-management.
- Collaborate with the healthcare team to provide continuity of care and referrals to specialists when necessary.
- Perform outpatient procedures, including specimen collection processing and administering botulinum toxin treatments and dermal fillers.
Experience
- A Master’s degree in Nursing or equivalent qualification is required.
- Current Nurse Practitioner certification with Louisiana state licensure.
- Experience in outpatient settings is preferred
- Proficiency in performing medical procedures such botulinum toxin treatment, and dermal fillers is a plus.

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $109,829.00 – $120,000.00 per year
