Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated and compassionate Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will provide high-quality patient care in various settings, including outpatient hosipatal and clinical. This role requires a strong clinical background and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient outcomes.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients, including physical examinations and medical histories.
  • Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses, providing appropriate management plans.
  • Perform triage for patients, prioritizing care based on urgency and severity of conditions.
  • Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to develop and implement treatment plans.
  • Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
  • Utilize knowledge of ICD-9 coding for accurate documentation and billing processes.
  • Provide critical care when necessary, ensuring timely interventions in emergency situations.
  • Assist with family planning services as needed, offering guidance and support to patients.
  • Maintain accurate patient records and ensure compliance with healthcare regulations.

Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in Nursing or Physician Assistant program from an accredited program.
  • Current Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant certification in the relevant specialty area.
  • Valid state licensure as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant.
  • Experience in clinical or hospital medicine is preferred but not required.
  • Strong knowledge of DME (Durable Medical Equipment) usage and management is a plus.
  • Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport with patients and families.
  • Proficient in electronic medical records (EMR) systems for documentation purposes.
  • Ability to work independently as well as part of a collaborative healthcare team.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: From $110,000.00 per year
