Hematology/Oncology Physician Locum Opportunity NAME YOUR RATE Western, Kentucky Hematology & Oncology January 2027 – December 2027 Gap Dates Outpatient & Hospital Call Outpatient Tuesday – Friday (8:00 am – 4:30 pm) Night Call – Call back is rare at this location Hospital Rounding with a midlevel to assist Weekend Call Schedule is from a Tuesday to a Tuesday. Patient Mix Adult Patients Only, No Peds. Mix is more Hematology than Oncology Hem but this can fluctuate from month to month. Volume of patients per day will also fluctuate, but averages between 15-22 patients- f/u’s and new patients New consults per week average between 15 and 20, depending on the referral volumes The facility would like the physician to participate in the Tumor Board, but will only present if they need to BMBX completed by IR. Chemotherapy is administered in the infusion dept by RN’s with a team of pharmacists embedded in the center. Support Structure: 3 Clinic RN’s, 5 MA’s, 3 NP’s, 3 Front Office Great Compensation Name Your Rate Additional Benefits Medical Malpractice In-house Travel Coordinator Credentialing Support Qualifications Board Certified or Board Eligible Current Kentucky medical license preferred. Current IMLC will be considered BLS and ACLS
