Due to continued growth in patients and services, Specialists MAT is seeking an APRN or PA to practice Addiction Medicine in Louisville, KY. We are seeking a full time APRN with either the Family Practice or PMHNP credential.
We are a full service outpatient facility providing medication assisted treatment, counseling, management of psychiatric comorbidities and treatment of Hepatitis C. Experience is helpful but not necessary as we will train you to think like a specialist. The ideal candidate should be intellectually curious, self – reliant and self – motivated. We are data centric in our approach to our practice. Scheduling is fair and consistent.
We have offices in E-town, Louisville, and Russell Springs, KY. ; your work will be mostly in Jeffersontown / Louisville with 1 day a week traveling (paid) to Elizabethtown. Your work schedule will be Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday from 9 to 5:30; Wednesday 11 to 7:30; Friday 9 to 1:00 pm. All providers work 1 Saturday (4 hours) morning per month.
We expect the candidate will have or obtain their DEA.

Responsibilities– Perform patient assessments and develop appropriate care plans.– Administer medications and treatments as prescribed.– Conduct diagnostic tests and interpret results.– Collaborate with healthcare team members to provide comprehensive patient care.– Document patient information accurately in electronic medical records.– Stay updated on current medical practices and guidelines.– Educate patients and their families on health management and treatment plans.
