Job Summary
The Department of Physician Assistant Studies (PAS), College of Health Sciences (CHS) at the University of Kentucky is currently accepting applications for a full-time 12-month Clinical Title Series faculty position (non-tenure eligible) at rank determined by qualifications, to begin employment on July 1, 2025.

Our well-established and nationally respected program offers an entry-level Master of Science degree in Physician Assistant Studies and enrolls 56 students annually on two campuses in Morehead and Lexington, KY. The program is accredited by the ARC-PA. Additionally, the department houses the PA Academic residency program which provides specialized training to PAs across the state. The primary responsibilities for the individual in the position are to provide didactic, clinical and laboratory instruction as well as advising to students in the in Physician Assistant Studies program. The faculty member would have the opportunity to be assigned direct patient care services at UK HealthCare, probono or other practice settings as arranged and approved by the Chair. The specific teaching assignment will be based on program needs, and the clinical assignment distribution of effort is flexible based on program needs and skills and qualifications of selected candidate. The anticipated effort for this position is Instruction 50-80%, Service (including clinical work) 5-40%, Research/Scholarship 1-10%, Professional Development 2-5% and will be negotiated with the Chair annually.
