About the Role:

The Physician Assistant/ARNP will play a crucial role in providing high-quality healthcare services to patients with orthopedic conditions. This position involves assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients under the supervision of a physician, ensuring that each patient receives personalized care tailored to their specific needs. The successful candidate will also be responsible for educating patients about their conditions and treatment options, empowering them to make informed decisions about their health. Collaboration with a multidisciplinary team will be essential to develop comprehensive care plans that enhance patient outcomes. Ultimately, this role aims to improve the quality of life for patients through effective management of orthopedic issues and proactive health education.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies or equivalent.
  • Current certification as a Physician Assistant or Advanced Registered Nurse Practitioner (ARNP).
  • Valid state licensure to practice as a Physician Assistant or ARNP.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience in orthopedic care or related specialty.
  • Advanced certifications in orthopedic procedures or patient education.
  • Bilingual skills to communicate effectively with a diverse patient population.

Responsibilities:

  • Conduct thorough patient assessments, including medical history and physical examinations.
  • Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.
  • Perform diagnostic and therapeutic procedures as needed, such as joint injections or casting.
  • Educate patients and their families about orthopedic conditions, treatment options, and preventive care.
  • Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records in compliance with healthcare regulations.

The required skills in orthopedics will be utilized daily through patient assessments and the execution of treatment plans tailored to orthopedic conditions.
