Your Mission as a Cardiology Physician Assistant (PA)
As a Cardiology Physician Assistant, you’ll provide innovative approaches to cardiology, driving excellence in patient care and shaping the future of cardiology care for Veterans.
Key Responsibilities
- Collaborate with a Dynamic Team: Work alongside dedicated healthcare professionals to deliver evidence-based cardiology care solutions.
- Lead Patient-Centered Care: Conduct comprehensive assessments and develop personalized treatment plans that improve patient outcomes.
- Drive Impactful Projects: Contribute to initiatives that enhance our cardiology services and support our mission to care for veterans.
- Enhance Patient Experience: Monitor progress and adjust treatment plans as needed to ensure optimal care.
Qualifications for Success
- Graduated from an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current or future board certification as a Physician Assistant
- Experience in cardiology is highly valued, but not required
Physician Assistant Salary and Benefits
- Competitive Physician Assistant Salary: $109,948 – $166,226 per year. Your exact PA salary will be determined through a formal pay-setting process.
- Annual Salary Increases: 2% federal, 2% local, and promotional (on average)
- Retirement: Thrift Savings Plan (TSP) retirement (401k) with employer contributions
- Pension: Federal Employees Retirement System (FERS) pension contributions
