Full Job Description
The Integrative Health and Hormone Clinic (IHHC) has an immediate opportunity for a full-time ARNP/PA to join our thriving practice offering integrative and function medicine, IV Vitamin therapy, and hormone optimization including pellet placements. We provide in-depth assessments for all our patients and incorporate advanced functional medicine diagnostic testing.
All providers work as part of a highly collaborate team including nurses and health coaches. Many of IHHC’s patients are experiencing complex health challenges or are simply looking for additional immune support.
Ideal candidates would embody and live according to the lifestyle we prescribe to our patients. Striving to create the best possible patient experience for every patient at every encounter with a kind and caring personality. They would exhibit an entrepreneurial spirit and enjoy the business and clinical practice of nursing.
Education
- Graduate from an accredited ARNP/PA program required.
- Dedication to pursuing training and/or certification in Functional Medicine or Integrative Medicine.
- Current Iowa Nurse Practitioner/Physician License or ability to obtain
- Board certified as an Adult/Gero OR Family Nurse Practitioner is preferred for ARNP’s
Knowledge, Skills, and Experience
- Punctuality and committed to meeting scheduling requirements.
- Ability to multi-task
- Proficient with EMR
- A minimum of 1 year of work-experience in an outpatient clinical setting, preferably with exposure to integrative/functional medicine, but not required.
- Current training or interest in developing an integrative specialty focus.
- Experience/exposure to hormone management.
- Comfort with developing and delivering presentations for patient education.
- Knowledge with using various social media channels and willingness to generate relevant content.
