Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner (Full-Time or Part-Time, Mon–Thurs Office)Allergy & Asthma Associates of the Mississippi Valley – Davenport, IA

This full-time or part-time position (Monday–Thursday office hours) offers the opportunity to build long-term patient relationships in a highly collaborative, outpatient environment.

You’ll work under the supervision of board-certified allergist Dr. Andrea Jones and alongside experienced PA Nicole Hopkins, providing comprehensive care to both adult and pediatric patients with environmental allergies, asthma, eczema, food and drug allergies, and immunodeficiencies.

Responsibilities:

  • Perform comprehensive evaluations for new and returning patients
  • Provide care to both pediatric and adult populations
  • Conduct and interpret spirometry
  • Perform oral food and drug challenges
  • Perform and interpret allergy skin prick testing, intradermal testing, and patch testing
  • Develop and manage treatment plans for chronic allergic and immunologic conditions
  • Educate patients and families about diagnoses, treatment options, and medication use
  • Manage allergy immunotherapy (AIT), biologic therapies, and specialty pharmacy processes
  • Evaluate and treat systemic allergic reactions, including administration of epinephrine
  • Maintain timely and accurate electronic medical records
  • Collaborate closely with the physician and clinical team to support efficient clinic operations and excellent patient care

Qualifications:

  • Current PA or NP license in the state of Iowa
  • National certification (NCCPA, AANP, or ANCC)
  • Experience in allergy/immunology, pulmonology, or primary care preferred—but we are happy to train the right candidate
  • Strong clinical judgment, critical thinking, and communication skills
  • Compassionate, team-oriented, and reliable
