PAs in Indiana are licensed by the Indiana Physician Assistant Committee. Indiana is not in the PA Licensure Compact, so a PA licensed elsewhere needs an Indiana license. To prescribe controlled substances in Indiana, a PA also needs a Controlled Substance Registration (CSR) from the Indiana Professional Licensing Agency (Indiana Board of Pharmacy), on top of DEA registration.

We are currently looking for a Full-time / Part-time Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our team in Plano, TX.

Immediate opening has come up for a great well established outpatient Primary Care (Internal Medicine) practice based in Plano, TX for a mid-level provider (NP or PA). It is a full-time position with good benefit package. Work hours are from Monday through Friday 8 am to 5 pm.
Job duties: Under the guidance of the Internist, provide medical care and treatment to patients. Perform physical exams, document patient history, order labs, required diagnostic tests, appropriate diagnostic, and therapeutic procedures, prescribe appropriate interventions and medications, and contribute to excellent patient care. We are looking for candidate who is motivated, hardworking with ability to work independently under the physician’s guidance. The candidate should have great written and oral communication skills and ability to multitask.
