Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough psychiatric evaluations and mental health assessments for patients across various settings, including outpatient clinics and telehealth platforms.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans that incorporate psychopharmacology, therapy referrals, and case management strategies.
- Prescribe and monitor psychiatric medications, including managing side effects and adjusting dosages as needed to optimize patient outcomes.
- Educate patients and their families about mental health conditions, medication management, and coping strategies to promote recovery and wellness.
Qualifications
- Current licensure as a Nurse Practitioner with certification in Psychiatry or Mental Health Nursing.
- Proven experience working with diverse populations including children, geriatrics, or those requiring acute or chronic psychiatric care.
- Strong knowledge of psychopharmacology, diagnostic evaluation (ICD-10 coding), and treatment modalities for behavioral health conditions.
- Experience in telehealth delivery models is preferred but not required; excellent communication skills are essential.
Pay: $90.00 – $120.00 per hour
