Full Job Description

Pain Specialists of Greater Chicago is seeking a midlevel provider for our busy Interventional Pain Management office. This person will work in collaboration with physicians to deliver quality pain management services in outpatient and in-patient settings.

Job Description:Duties and Responsibilities:*Assist with diagnosis, treatment and management of acute and chronic pain conditions.*Order treatments and equipment as required.*Perform minor injections in office settings. (Trigger point, joints, bursa, nerve blocks. US guidance.*Carefully prescribe medications, including controlled substances to the extent delegated and licensed.*Assist in all facets of care coordination for pain management referrals.*Prepares and maintains accurate patient records, charts and documents to support sound medical practice and reimbursements for services provided.

*Actively participate in on-going compliance and continuing education with practice

Qualifications include:*Masters in Nursing or PA degree*Minimum experience one to three years in a clinical setting such as inpatient or clinic setting*Preference for three or more years’ experience in Pain Management*Current State RN license and NP Certification or PA Certification in good standing*Active DEA Number*American Heart Association BLS Healthcare Provider Certification

Pay: $105,000.00 – $129,551.00 per year
