Summary:
Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner – Occupational Health – HSHS Medical Group – Springfield, IL
HSHS Medical Group is recruiting an additional BC Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Occupational Health clinic in Springfield, IL. HSHS Medical Group works in partnership with Hospital Sisters Health System.
Position Requirements
- Provide occupational health appointments including, but not limited to, pre-employment physicians, specialty physicians, and worker’s comp.
- Unrestricted Illinois license prior to start.
- Board Certified Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant prior to start
- Experience as a Occupational Health provider is preferred, but is not required.
Position Details
- Monday – Friday weekly schedule
- No Call Rotation, Weekends, or Holidays.
- EPIC EMR
- Designated support staff.
Compensation & Benefits Package
- Set base salary
- Paid time off with holidays accrued bi-weekly
- CME reimbursement + days available per fiscal year

Qualifications:
Education
Master’s degree in Nursing is required.
Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing PLUS 5 years relevant experience may be considered in lieu of degree.
Doctoral degree in Nursing is preferred.
Experience
Experience in management of patients across the care continuum preferred.
Certifications, Licenses and Registrations
Licensed in the state of practice as Advanced Practice Registered Nurse is required.
Wisconsin Department of Safety and Professional Services (WDSPS) or Illinois Department of Financial and Professional Regulation (IDFPR)
Basic Life Support (BLS) certification is required.
Board certification from the National Certification Corporation is preferred.
Controlled Substance license in state of practice is preferred.
Federal DEA license is preferred.
Neonatal Resuscitation Program (NRP) certification is preferred.
Physical Requirements: Advanced Practice
