Full Job Description

Central Illinois Urgent Care continues to grow in providing care within the communities of Effingham, Litchfield, Taylorville, Forsyth, Lincoln, & Mattoon IL. In December of 2024, the Taylorville Urgent Care is looking for a PRN provider who is interested in working every other weekend – Saturday and Sunday 10 am to 6 pm. Also looking for PRN Physician Assistants or Nurse Practitioners Float Pool who enjoys working in an urgent care environment, medical service to individuals for acute illnesses and accidents, worker’s comp injuries, DOT exams, Pre-employment exams, School and Sport Physical – a little of this and that. These PRN positions will provide shift coverage for our full time providers requesting time off throughout the year for the 6 Urgent Care Clinics. Clinics consist of full medical and clerical staff, x-ray and surgical suite, and laboratory testing.

Job Summary: To provide compassionate and excellent patient care by performing courteous, efficient, and accurate care. Assess, plan, and provide care under the supervision of a physician. Examine and treat general as well as urgent care patients to ensure proper injury care, disease prevention, diagnosis, treatment, and recovery.

Must possess a current license to practice in the State of Illinois and a current controlled substance and DEA license.

Knowledge of basic ER, internal medicine, generalist, occupational medicine, and family practice procedures.Minimum of two years of experience in urgent care, emergency department, or family practice setting.

Pay: From $60.00 per hour
