Baystate Health is a not-for-profit, integrated healthcare system in western Massachusetts which consists of an academic medical center, three community hospitals and the region’s largest multispecialty group. Our flagship hospital, Baystate Medical Center, is home to the University of Massachusetts Chan Medical School-Baystate.

POSITION HIGHLIGHTS:

  • Join our Emergency Medicine team at Baystate Medical Center (BMC) in Springfield MA. BMC is a level I Trauma Center with one of the busiest EDs in the state. Our ED provides care for over 120,000 patients annually. Our 72,000 square foot ED is equipped with private rooms, separate pediatric ED, behavioral health rooms and state-of-the-art technology.
  • Work collaboratively with our large team of physicians, residents and fellows, APPs, nurses and support staff to provide evidence-based and patient centered care.
  • APPs rotate through all levels of acuity with both adult and pediatric patients.
  • Enjoy an academic setting where you will receive outstanding mentorship and participate in regular educational activities to promote professional development.
  • This is a 0.5 FTE part time position with 9-hour shifts.

Qualifications: Board certified Family Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant. 2+ years of emergency medicine APP experience is highly preferred.
