We are a mobile-based private medical practice specializing in Primary Care and Wound Care, seeking reliable, adaptable Medical Assistants to support our providers and operations. This role supports both field-based mobile care and office-based clinical workflows, depending on skill set and operational fit.
We are looking for detail-oriented, accountable individuals who stay organized, anticipate needs, and take pride in accuracy and follow-through. Growth potential is strong for the right candidate, with advancement based on clear performance metrics such as timeliness, communication, and documentation quality.
MA Role Tracks (Based on Skills & Fit)
Medical Assistants may be placed into one of the following roles after skills assessment and onboarding:
- Office-Based Medical Assistant
Focuses on billable and operational clinical support, including care plans, RPM, CCM, documentation review, and coordination.
- Field-Based Medical Assistant
Supports mobile providers during patient visits, assists with wound care procedures, performs Ultramist treatments, and supports real-time documentation and logistics.
- Hybrid Medical Assistant
Splits time between office-based and field-based responsibilities, supporting both clinical operations and mobile provider workflows.
Placement is based on demonstrated skills, experience, and operational needs. Training and cross-exposure may be provided.
Key Responsibilities
Administrative & Clinical Support
- Document and update patient information in the EHR system (NetHealth)
- Assist providers with wound care, including dressing changes, repositioning, measurements, photography, and debridement assistance
- Ultramist treatments (for field-based roles) with Pro
- Coordinate appointments and care plans with providers, patients, and home health partners
- Manage medical supply inventory (tracking, reordering, organization using tools such as Monday.com)
- Handle patient communications related to scheduling, medications, insurance, and follow-ups
- Upload and organize clinical documents and records into appropriate systems
- Support virtual visits (telemedicine), including session prep and scribing

- Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple priorities
- Proven reliability, accountability, and follow-through
- Comfortable troubleshooting basic technology issues (EHRs, tablets, mobile devices)
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and able to work independently
- Prior experience in a medical or healthcare setting required
- Experience with medical scribing is a plus
- Familiarity with SOAP notes and basic medical terminology
- Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation required (for field or hybrid roles)

Schedule & Hours
- Monday–Friday
- 8 AM to 5 PM
- Office-based, field-based, or hybrid depending on role track
Compensation & Benefits
- $18.00–$24.00 per hour, based on experience and role track
