Physician Assistant for Ophthalmology Practice

Location: Oak Lawn, IL

Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Physician Assistant to join our Ophthalmology team in Oak Lawn, IL. The successful candidate will work closely with our Ophthalmologists to provide exceptional patient care and support.

Responsibilities:

• Assist in the diagnosis and treatment of eye diseases and conditions
• Perform comprehensive eye exams and assessments
• Prescribe medications and treatments as directed by the Ophthalmologist
• Provide patient education and counseling on eye health and disease prevention
• Assist in surgical procedures as needed
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date patient records
• Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure optimal patient care

Requirements:

• Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
• Current certification as a Physician Assistant
• Experience in Ophthalmology preferred but will train
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
