As a PA at our hospital, you will collaborate with a multidisciplinary team to provide comprehensive psychiatric care to our patients. You will coordinate decision-making with the psychiatrist, perform clinical assessments, and develop treatment plans. Our team includes psychiatrists, registered nurses, licensed practical nurses, mental health technicians, social workers, therapists, and educators. We seek someone who can establish empathy and a person-centered approach to patients, recognize their limitations, and respond to challenging situations with skill and professionalism. The Physician Assistant (PA) is responsible for:
- Conducting follow-up visits after initial assessments.
- Participating in weekly staffing and family sessions.
- Prescribing pharmacologic interventions as necessary.
- Reviewing laboratory and diagnostic test results.
- Consulting with attending psychiatrists and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team to perform clinical assessments, adhering to psychiatric and medical nursing procedures.
- Communicating with patients, families, and others to obtain required information.
Your Experience Matters What were looking for:
- Education & Licensure: Completion of a Masters Program (Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner) from an accredited nursing school. Current licensure as a Registered Nurse and Psychiatric Nurse Practitioner in Illinois.
- Experience: Minimum of three (3) years of clinical experience in a psychiatric setting

Compensation:
