Role Description:
This is a full-time on-site role for a Physician Assistant across a few of the 18 Get Well Urgent Care locations. Hours of operation are 8:00AM-Midnight. This position will require the individual to work at least one shift until midnight and two weekends a month. Shifts vary from 8-13 hours. The Physician Assistant will work closely with the medical team to provide comprehensive urgent care services to patients. Daily tasks may include conducting patient assessments, diagnosing and treating medical conditions, ordering and interpreting diagnostic tests, prescribing medications, and providing patient education and counseling.
Qualifications:Current certification as a Physician AssistantExcellent diagnostic and clinical skillsStrong interpersonal and communication skillsAbility to work collaboratively with a team of healthcare professionalsAbility to multitask and work efficiently in a busy environmentFlexible and adaptable to changes in patient volume and acuityComfortable working with patients of all agesBachelor’s or master’s degree in Physician Assistant studies or related fieldLicensure in the state of Michigan or ability to obtain Michigan license
