## Job OverviewWe are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have experience in critical care, hospital medicine, and administering injections. This position offers the opportunity to work in a dynamic healthcare environment, providing care to patients across various specialties.
## Responsibilities- Conduct patient assessments and provide appropriate medical care under the supervision of a licensed physician- Administer medications, including injections, and assist in minor surgical procedures- Perform and interpret diagnostic tests such as EKGs and laboratory tests- Document patient information accurately in electronic health records (EHR) systems- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement patient care plans- Provide patient education on treatment plans, medications, and preventive healthcare measures
## Experience- Previous experience in critical care, hospital medicine, or senior care is preferred- Proficiency in physiology knowledge and understanding of vital signs- Familiarity with research methodologies, data collection, and analysis- Knowledge of medical coding (ICD-10) and experience with EHR systems such as eClinicalWorks
