Full Job Description
Job Summary:We are seeking a skilled and compassionate Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our interventional pain management team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in pain management, a collaborative spirit, and the ability to work effectively with patients experiencing complex pain conditions. The NP or PA will be responsible for conducting evaluations, developing treatment plans, performing interventions, and providing ongoing patient care.
Key Responsibilities:
- Conduct comprehensive assessments of patients with acute and chronic pain conditions.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.
- Perform interventional procedures such as joint injections.
- Monitor patient progress, adjust treatment plans, and provide education on pain management strategies.
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests, including imaging studies and laboratory tests.
- Collaborate with a multidisciplinary team, including physicians, physical therapists, and psychologists, to optimize patient outcomes.
- Provide patient and family education regarding pain management options, medication use, and lifestyle modifications.
- Maintain accurate and timely documentation in the electronic health record (EHR).
- Stay current with advancements in pain management treatment modalities and evidence-based practices.
- Participate in quality improvement initiatives and peer reviews to enhance patient care standards.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $118,989.00 – $124,227.00 per year
