Overview
Well-established Orthopedic Group seeks to add a full-time Physician Assistant. The Physician Assistant will work directly with a well- established fellowship-trained Orthopedic Surgeon. This position is a split between the clinic and OR. These doctors have a very successful and growing practice and handle general cases (sports) with a strong emphasis on total joints.
They are located in a modern facility and have their own PT/OT onsite. The position has no weekends and no call.
The opportunity is located in a very desirable area of North Chicago. Salary range is based on experience level and includes an incentive. Additionally, there is a full benefits package provided.
Responsibilities
- First assist
- H&P’s
- Write scripts
- Coordinate with PT/OT
- Consultation, rounding, event coverage and discharge summaries.
Requirements
- Successful Physician Assistants must be NCCPA-certified
- Prefer to have candidates with some orthopedic experience.
- Bilingual Spanish is a plus.
- Physician Assistants must be from the region
