We are seeking a hardworking, dedicated, reliable, autonomous Physician Assistant to join our practice. This is a unique opportunity to join and grow with our professional team in our fast-paced, expanding adult and pediatric allergy outpatient clinic. You will work with an established, Board Certified Physician as well as our experienced Physician Assistants, managing diseases such as rhinitis, asthma, sinusitis, eczema, urticaria, angioedema, and anaphylaxis. Previous allergy and immunology experience is ideal, however we may make an exception for the appropriate and highly-motivated candidate. Those without previous allergy office experience will be trained by existing providers. Individual must possess the ability to work both as a member of a team, as well as autonomously.
Services offered: Allergen Immunotherapy, Skin prick testing, Intradermal Testing, Spirometry, various biologic therapies, specialty pharmacotherpies and infusions, Subcutaneous and Intramuscular Injections, Immune Deficiency Work-up, Drug and Food challenges, Patch Testing, Celiac Screenings, and Cerumen Disimpaction.
Must be able to interpret diagnostic labs and radiology as well as treat anaphylaxis (training provided).
Pay commensurate with experience. Highest quality medical care, interpersonal and interprofessional skills essential.
Must hold current Illinois License, NCCPA Board Certification, Illinois Controlled Substance registration (DPS) and Federal Controlled Substance Certification (DEA) registration.
Details:
- Full-time or Part-time position available
- Outpatient only, no inpatient, no call, no weekends
- Some light evening hours
- Coverage at 2 different outpatient sites (Lincoln Park and Loop); rare coverage at our other suburban locations
