OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Nurse Practitioner to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess a comprehensive understanding of patient care, with experience in various medical settings. This role requires a strong commitment to providing high-quality care and the ability to work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals. The Nurse Practitioner will be responsible for assessing, diagnosing, and treating patients across a diverse range of medical conditions.
Duties
- Conduct comprehensive physical examinations and patient assessments.
- Develop and implement individualized treatment plans based on patient needs.
- Perform diagnostic evaluations and interpret laboratory results.
- Administer medications, including injections and IV infusions.
- Provide acute pain management and emergency care as needed.
- Manage chronic conditions and coordinate care for patients in various settings, including outpatient, inpatient, assisted living, and home care.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
- Document all patient interactions accurately in electronic medical records (EMR) systems.
- Educate patients and families on health management, disease prevention, and wellness strategies.
- Participate in clinical research initiatives as necessary.
Requirements
- Current Nurse Practitioner license and certification in the state of practice.
- Experience with EMR systems such as Epic, Cerner, or eClinicalWorks is preferred.
- Strong clinical skills in areas such as internal medicine, pediatrics, geriatrics, or urgent care.
- Familiarity with CPT coding, ICD-9, ICD-10 coding systems, and workers’ compensation law is beneficial.
- Proficient in performing procedures such as suturing, catheterization, spinal taps, venipuncture, and airway management.
- Knowledge of behavioral health practices and experience working with patients with developmental disabilities or dementia care is advantageous.
- Ability to provide telehealth services effectively.

Pay: $75.00 per hour
