Nurse Practitioner/Physician Assistant – Pain Management (Full-Time or Part-Time)

About the Role
Our established interventional pain management practice in Chicago’s Norwood Park neighborhood is seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to join our innovative and patient-focused team. You will work directly with a highly experienced pain management physician who emphasizes evidence-based, minimally invasive procedures and collaborative, compassionate care. The scope of practice, considered to be an industry leader within the Chicagoland Pain community. We emphasize personal growth for all personnel in our practice.
Key Responsibilities
- Conduct comprehensive patient evaluations, including medical histories, assessments, and follow-up visits for interventional pain management patients.
- Collaborate closely with the physician and clinical team to develop and manage individualized treatment plans.
- Provide education and counseling to patients regarding pain management strategies, procedures, and medication safety.
- Manage pre- and post-procedure care and coordinate with clinical staff to ensure smooth workflow and optimal patient experience.
- Maintain accurate documentation in the EMR.
- Participate and contribute to a positive, team-oriented environment.
Qualifications
- Current Illinois Nurse Practitioner license and board certification (ANCC or AANP) or Current Illinois Physician Assistant license in good standing, NCCPA certification.
- DEA license (or eligibility to obtain).
- Experience in pain management, anesthesia, orthopedics, PM&R, or related specialty preferred.
- Excellent communication, organization, and teamwork skills.

Pay: $64,431.16 – $120,000.00 per year
Expected hours: 24 – 40 per week
