Full Job Description
The Mid-Level (Physician Assistant/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Provider’s main role is managing ENT patients. This provider will work with physicians, managers, and technicians/respiratory therapists to provide care for patients with ENT and sleep conditions. Under minimal supervision, the mid-level provider will work to provide high quality, efficient, integrated, continuous, and cost-effective care to patients. This role will primarily be located at Resurrection Hospital and the Chicago Sleep Center in Skokie. This role will report to the Medical Director.
PRIMARY RESPONSIBILITIES of the Mid-Level (Physician Assistant/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Provider
- Conduct a physical, cognitive, and functional exam.
- Order appropriate diagnostic testing.
- Coordinate and execute patient treatment plans.
- Work cooperatively with the ENT/Sleep Medicine clinic staff.

No hospital call responsibilities.
REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS of the Mid-Level (Physician Assistant/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Provider
- Physician Assistant (P.A.) with valid Illinois license OR Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) with valid Illinois license
- Sleep medicine or ENT experienced preferred
- Be energetic, compassionate, and self-motivated
- Excellent organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication, and interpersonal skills
- Proficiency with PC-based computer skills

o Sleep Lab Web-based Software
SUPERVISORY RESPONSIBILITY of the Mid-Level (Physician Assistant/Advanced Practice Registered Nurse) Otolaryngology Provider
This position has no supervisory responsibility.

Currently licensed as an Advanced Practice Registered Nurse or Physician Assistant in Illinois.
