We’re seeking Physician Assistants with a passion for mental health.
We are a primary care practice where 40% of our patients are seen for mental health diagnoses. We manage uncomplicated depression, anxiety, PTSD, and bipolar disorders in the diagnostic spectrum. This position will also work at the ketamine infusion clinic.

This position would have a primary focus in the care of patients with mental health diagnoses, and also manage primary and urgent care cases providing for a balanced mix of conditions.

What are we looking for?
· Providers PASSIONATE ABOUT MENTAL HEALTH with experience, AND with broad experience in primary/urgent care, .
· We prefer candidates who have recently re-certified or certified for their boards within the past five years and are passionate about continual professional growth and skills acquisition.
· We seek individuals passionate about continuous learning. All providers are required to participate in regular CME activities.
· The Medical Director and board-certified physicians provide personalized 1-on-1 clinical support for your professional development.

What is my role?
· Provide primary and urgent care, and primary care psychiatry serving a population aged 22-70.
· Work closely on a 1-on-1 basis with board-certified physicians and the medical director.

What is the importance of maintaining core competencies and skills in general medicine?
· For mid-level providers, early specialization in one specialty significantly decreases the likelihood of changing to another specialty or primary care.
· Studies show limited data on negative impacts of specialization, but there are concerns about long-term career mobility.

What will my onboarding and training look like?
· Intensive training with a focus on knowledge and skill development
· Initial shadowing of senior providers, medical director, or collaborating psychiatrist
· Graded transition to independent practice with continuous close support
· Free CME to maintain and advance skills
Am I expected to complete charting from home?
No
· Aayu Clinics aims to help providers achieve productivity levels that allow them to see a smaller number of more complex patients, potentially matching the reimbursement of practices where providers see a much larger volume.
· The goal is to complete all work, including charting, within the scheduled shift without taking work home.
· We use Artificial Intelligence for documentation, and composing patient discharge instructions, and 90% of our prescriptions are templated.
· The Medical Assistants play a large role in taking responsibilities off providers.

Pay: $145,000.00 – $205,000.00 per year
