The Medical Director will also provide advice and oversight regarding the medical accuracy of the curriculum and the quality of clinical experiences available to students and serve as an advocate for the program within the medical and academic communities.

- Proven ability to exercise sound judgment and discretion in building and maintaining professional relationships with prospective students, faculty, staff, and external partners.
- Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple priorities independently.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to present effectively in one-onone, small group, and large audience settings.
- Demonstrated ability to engage respectfully and effectively with individuals from diverse backgrounds.
- Public speaking proficiency and comfort presenting program information to varied audiences.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with a commitment to service excellence and student-centered engagement.
- Familiarity with Roosevelt University’s mission, values, and vision, and the ability to represent them authentically in all interactions.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook) and ability to learn and utilize CRM systems such as Slate and centralized application platforms like PharmCAS.
- Currently or previously licensed PA or osteopathic or allopathic physician
- Currently or previously board-certified
- Minimum of two (2) years of clinical experience
- Five (5) years of clinical experience
- Knowledgeable about the PA role and have experience with the PA scope of practice
