Job Title: Locum Tenens Neurology Advanced Practice Provider – Rockford, IL
Royal Surgical Associates (RSA Locums) is a provider-led locum tenens staffing firm specializing in cardiac surgery, cardiothoracic surgery, CVICU, critical care, and related surgical subspecialties. Founded and run by experienced cardiac surgery PAs and healthcare professionals, we connect top-tier Nurse Practitioners (NPs) and Physician Assistants (PAs) with premier facilities nationwide.
Details:
- Start asap – ongoing assignment
- Full time or Part time Need
- 12-hour shifts: 7:00 AM – 7:00 PM
- Monday through Friday
- No call
- High houly rate
- Malpractice, travel, lodging, rental car or mileage, parking all covered
Typical Day:
- Inpatient rounding on neurology patients
- Performing new patient consults
- Managing stroke alerts and responding to acute ED and transfer evaluations
- Pre- and post-operative management of endovascular cases
- Intermittent clinic in-basket management
- Collaborating with attending neurologists, hospital staff, and multidisciplinary teams to ensure optimal patient outcomes
Requirements:
- Neurology candidates should be comfortable assisting and supporting Interventional physicians
- Strong background in stroke and general neurology
- Certification as an Acute Care NP or equivalent for NPs; PA certification required
- Active Illinois state license to apply
- EMR: EPIC
- 1 to 2 years of experience
