Assistant Director of Nursing (ADON)

Duties:
– Manage and supervise nursing staff to ensure quality care delivery in accordance with established protocols.
– Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and other healthcare providers to develop and implement comprehensive care plans.
– Monitor resident health status, medication administration, and treatment outcomes to ensure optimal patient care.
– Uphold compliance with regulatory standards, including Medicare guidelines and resident rights.
– Provide leadership and guidance to nursing personnel, fostering a positive work environment conducive to professional growth.
– Oversee nursing documentation, including assessments, care plans, and progress notes.
– Participate in interdisciplinary team meetings and contribute to care planning discussions.
– Stay abreast of best practices in nursing administration and implement process improvements as needed.
– Experience in Skilled nursing or Long term care facility is mandatory.
Qualifications:
– Bachelor’s degree in Nursing or related field; Master’s degree preferred.
– Active RN/LPN license with proven experience in acute care settings.
– Proficiency in medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, and nursing systems.
– Prior experience in nurse management or nursing administration roles.
– Strong leadership skills with a focus on collaboration and team building.
– Familiarity with Medicare regulations and commitment to upholding resident rights.
