Role Description
This is a full-time on-site role for a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant at Midwest Urological Group, located in Peoria, IL. Responsibilities include diagnosing and treating urological conditions, creating customized care plans, conducting medical consultations and follow-ups, and collaborating with a multidisciplinary team. The position also involves educating patients about preventive care and available treatment options, ensuring the delivery of compassionate and high-quality care.
Qualifications
- Strong diagnostic and clinical skills for identifying and managing urological conditions
- Effective communication skills to explain medical concepts to patients and collaborate with team members
- Proficiency in creating care plans and conducting detailed patient consultations
- Commitment to maintaining the highest ethical standards and patient confidentiality
- Current State of Illinois Physician Assistant OR Nurse Practitioner License and a Master’s degree from an accredited Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner program
- Certification as a Physician Assistant by the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA) OR Certification as a Nurse Practitioner by the American Academy of Nurse Practitioners (AANP)
- Experience working in urology or a related medical specialty is a plus
Pay: From $115,000.00 per year
