Job SummaryWe are seeking a dedicated Registered Medical Assistant P/T or F/T specializing in Rheumatology, with excellent work ethic and communication skills to join our private practice in Olympia Fields , IL.
Duties
- Prep new patient charts by obtaining information from EPIC and sources .
- Measure and record vital signs , complete patient intake and document patient medical history accurately in eClinicalworks EMR.
- Obtain Prior Authorization for specialty medications/ procedures.
- Coordinate appointment scheduling, follow-up visits, and patient communication to optimize clinic workflow.
- Triage patient phone calls.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of clinical areas while adhering to infection control protocols.
- Provide exceptional patient service by addressing questions or concerns professionally and compassionately.
Requirements
- Valid certification as a Registered Medical Assistant (RMA) or Certified Medical Assistant (CMA) from an accredited program.
- Proven experience in outpatient clinical settings, preferably within rheumatology or or internal medicine.
- Knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy, physiology, and pharmacology relevant to autoimmune disorders and musculoskeletal conditions.
- Strong patient care skills with the ability to handle sensitive health information confidentially.

Pay: From $20.00 per hour
