Job Title: Wound Care Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA)

Job Overview:
We are seeking a dedicated Nurse Practitioner (NP) or Physician Assistant (PA) to provide specialized wound care for rehabilitation and geriatric patients. This role involves comprehensive patient assessments, wound treatments (including debridement, dressing changes, and suturing), medication management, and patient education. You’ll work closely with a multidisciplinary healthcare team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform patient assessments and develop individualized wound care treatment plans.
- Conduct wound debridement, dressing changes, and suturing as needed.
- Prescribe and manage medications related to wound healing and infection control.
- Educate patients, families, and staff on proper wound care techniques.
- Collaborate with physicians, nurses, and therapists to coordinate patient care.
- Maintain thorough EMR documentation and track wound healing progress.
Qualifications:
- Active NP or PA license (Wound care experience preferred).
- Strong knowledge of wound healing and treatment protocols.
- Preferred EMR experience.
- Excellent patient communication and teamwork skills.

Pay: $125,000.00 – $135,000.00 per year
