Urology Advanced Practice Provider Job Description
OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our urology team. The ideal candidate will possess a strong background in urology with excellent communication skills.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough patient assessments and develop individualized care plans.
- Administer treatments, including Botulinum toxin treatment, as needed.
- Manage patient medical records and ensure accurate documentation of clinical data.
- Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to optimize patient outcomes.
- Monitor patients’ progress and adjust treatment plans accordingly.
- Provide education to patients and families regarding health management and disease prevention.
- Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations and standards.
Requirements
- Valid Idaho Physician Assistant License or Nurse Practitioner license.
- Experience in Urology.
- Good references.
- Familiarity with catheter placement and diagnosis and management of urological conditions.
- Strong communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare teams and efficient use of the electronical medical record.
- Ability to work independently while managing multiple patient cases efficiently.
- Commitment to providing compassionate care and improving patient health outcomes.
