JOB TITLE: Physician Assistant/Nurse Practitioner

SUPERVISOR: Corbin Bunnage/DeVon Dahlke

GENERAL JOB DESCRIPTION:

Provide both urgent and non-urgent healthcare in alignment with Sterling Provider Group’s policies. As a key member of our multicultural patient-focused team, conduct detailed patient histories, complete examinations, and maintain strong relationships with investors and referral sources.

MAJOR DUTIES:

  • Deliver outpatient medical care, including pre-operative care for minor surgeries.

  • Evaluate patients, establish diagnoses, and initiate treatment plans.

  • Maintain high medical practice standards and contribute to the training and development of the medical team.

  • Facilitate patient transitions within and between healthcare settings.

  • Exemplify a positive attitude and professionalism toward patients and staff.

  • Participate in the development of clinic protocols and formulary.

  • Fulfill continuing education requirements for licensure maintenance.

  • Document all patient-related activities in a timely manner.

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • Graduate from either an accredited physician assistant studies program, or nurse practitioner program.

  • Currently licensed in the State of hire/assignment.

  • Board certification by the NCCPA as a Physician Assistant.

  • Previous experience in urgent care, hospital, or ambulatory clinic setting preferred.

  • Effective communication skills in English, additional languages preferred.

OTHER REQUIREMENTS:

  • Patience and tact to interact with diverse patient populations.

  • Scheduling flexibility to rotate hours and shifts, including emergency coverage.

  • Strong presentation skills.
