As a Nursing Assistant, you will be responsible for providing quality care to our residents
. We are looking for someone with a positive attitude, strong work ethic, and the ability to work as part of
schedule will be 12 Hrs Shifts -Saturday and Sunday 6am – 6:30pm
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance to patients in day-to-day activities
- Administer medications and document them in medical records
- Take and record vital signs (temperature, blood pressure, pulse and respiration)
- Assist with transfer and preparation of beds and supplies for patients/families
- Observe changes in residents’ physical condition or in their behavior and report them to the physician or to the director of nursing or manager
- Administer vitamins and other supplements to patients who need them
- Check patients’ blood pressure, temperature and heart rate to ensure they are healthy
- Assist patients with their physical therapy exer
- Do research to find information about causes of illnesses and injuries
Skills
- Proven experience as a nursing assistant or relevant role
- Valid license to practice nursing assistant in Spirit Lake, ID
