OverviewWe are seeking a Certified Medical Assistant to join our healthcare team. The position will be Monday through Thursday 8-5 pm with Fridays off (usually extra hours to complete a full 40 hrs. If needed) The ideal candidate will play a crucial role in providing exceptional patient care in the clinic. We want a great fit for you and us. Responsibilities
- Assist healthcare providers with patient examinations and procedures, ensuring comfort and safety.
- Perform routine clinical tasks, including taking vital signs, preparing patients for exams, and documenting medical histories.
- Maintain accurate patient records and manage electronic health systems effectively.
- Administer medications and injections as directed by physicians.
- Ensure cleanliness and organization of the clinical environment, adhering to safety protocols.
- Communicate effectively with patients regarding their treatment plans and follow-up care.
- Collaborate with team members to enhance patient experience and streamline clinic operations.
Experience
- Certification as a Medical Assistant from an accredited program is required.
- Previous experience of one year preferred
- Familiarity with medical terminology and clinic operations is essential.
