Full Job Description
North Idaho Urology is seeking a motivated Physician Assistant to join our growing urology team. We offer a collaborative, patient-centered practice with a strong mix of clinic-based care and hands-on surgical experience. New graduates are welcome to apply, we provide structured onboarding and mentorship to help you build confidence and skill in the urology specialty.
What You’ll Do
- Evaluate and manage patients in clinic, including new patient workups, follow-ups, and chronic disease management (BPH, stones, incontinence, prostate health, etc.)
- Assist in the operating room alongside our urologists for a variety of surgical procedures
- Perform office-based procedures as training and credentialing allow
- Order and interpret diagnostic tests; develop treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians
- Document thoroughly and accurately in the EMR
- Educate patients on diagnoses, procedures, and post-operative care
- Collaborate closely with physicians and nursing staff to ensure high-quality, coordinated care.
What We’re Looking For
- Graduate of an accredited Physician Assistant program
- Current or eligible Washington/Idaho PA licensure (or willingness to obtain)
- NCCPA certification (or board-eligible)
- New grads encouraged to apply — prior urology or surgical experience is a plus but not required
- Strong communication skills and comfort working in both clinic and OR settings
- Detail-oriented, adaptable, and eager to learn a specialty practice
