Full Job Description
We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Physician Assistant to join our healthcare team.
Responsibilities:– Conduct comprehensive patient assessments, including medical history, physical examinations, and diagnostic tests.- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with the supervising physician.- Administer medications and perform procedures such as DME (Durable Medical .Equipment) setup, tube feeding, and inhalation therapy.- Provide patient education on medical conditions, treatment options, and preventive measures.- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records using electronic health record systems.- Collaborate with other healthcare professionals to ensure coordinated and efficient patient care.- Adhere to medical standards, protocols, and guidelines in all aspects of practice.- Assist in occupational health screenings and evaluations.
Qualifications:– Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program.- Current certification as a Physician Assistant (PA-C).- current/valid Iowa Physician Assistant License.- Strong clinical skills with the ability to assess, diagnose, and treat patients across various age groups.
Job Type: Contract
Pay: $35.00 – $40.00 per hour
Expected hours: 40 per week
Schedule:
- 8 hour shift
- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekends as needed
Experience:
- Physician assistant: 1 year (Preferred)
License/Certification:
- Physician Assistant License (Required)
Ability to Commute:
- Anamosa, IA (Preferred)
Ability to Relocate:
- Anamosa, IA: Relocate before starting work (Required)
