Aloha! We are a Hawaiʻi-based, Holistic and Integrative center that specializes in healing trauma. At the Center for Healing & Transformation, we integrate psychiatry, trauma healing psychotherapy, and innovative treatments such as TMS and Ketamine-Assisted Psychotherapy. We are located in Kailua, Oahu.
We are seeking a Board-Certified Psychiatrist who has interest in providing Transcranial Magnetic Stimulation (TMS) treatments along with medication management. This provider would support the medication needs of our clients with attunement and care and is also interested in growing into our TMS program. It would be wonderful if you are already experienced with TMS, but we are able to train you and get you certified in the MagVenture TMS system if needed. Our top priority is hiring someone who is empathetic, passionate about helping people, a team player, a forever learner and is wanting a place to settle into.
You must have a Hawaiian License for this job and live on Oahu. In this position, you can work in person in our Kailua office on Oahu or Hybrid mix of In Person/Telehealth. This is an Independent Contractor position (at least 15 hours of client sessions per week) in a private practice setting in Kailua, Hawaii on Oahu.

Medication Management responsibilities:
- Complete initial new patient evaluations and develop treatment plans
- Providing psychiatry/medication management services
- Maintain electronic medical records for each session
- Participate in team meetings and contribute to our loving, collaborative culture
TMS responsibilities:
- Psychiatrist conducts initial TMS evaluation and motor threshold mapping session (CPT 90867) to establish individualized treatment parameters.
- TMS Technician, under the Psychiatrist’s supervision, administers the ongoing daily treatment sessions (CPT 90868) across the typical 36-session course.
- Psychiatrist may also perform periodic recalibration or motor threshold re-determinations (CPT 90869) when clinically indicated to optimize treatment outcomes.
- Partner closely with TMS Technicians and our integrative therapy team for comprehensive client care
Requirements:
1. Licensed to Practice Medicine in the State of Hawaii
2. Board Certified in Psychiatry
3. Must have your own malpractice insurance and have no active legal disputes or investigations against your license
4. Experience (preferred) or interest in TMS (training and certification provided)
5. Compassionate, open-hearted, and attuned to client experience
