Full Job Description
Responsibilities:- Provide comprehensive patient care under the supervision of a physician- Perform physical examinations and assessments- Diagnose and treat acute and chronic illnesses- Develop and implement treatment plans- Order and interpret diagnostic tests- Prescribe medications and therapies- Provide patient education and counseling- Collaborate with healthcare professionals to coordinate patient care- Maintain accurate and up-to-date medical records
Requirements:- Valid Physician Assistant license in the state of practice- Graduation from an accredited Physician Assistant program- Experience in hospice palliative medicine, senior care, or primary care is preferred- Proficiency in performing physical examinations and medical procedures- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices- Strong communication and interpersonal skills- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced medical office environment
Skills:- Hospice palliative medicine- Senior care experience (preferred)- Patient care and assessment- Durable Medical Equipment (DME) knowledge- Research skills for evidence-based practice- Proficient in conducting physical examinations- Familiarity with medical office procedures and protocols- Primary care knowledge and experience- Medical coding proficiency
