Job OverviewWe are seeking a dedicated and skilled Dermatology Physician Assistant to join our medical team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in dermatological care, with expertise in both clinical and cosmetic procedures. This role involves diagnosing and treating various skin conditions, performing cosmetic procedures, and providing exceptional patient care. The Dermatologist will work collaboratively with other healthcare professionals to ensure comprehensive treatment plans for patients.
Responsibilities
- Conduct thorough examinations and assessments of patients’ skin conditions.
- Diagnose and treat a variety of dermatological issues, including acne, eczema, psoriasis, and skin cancers.
- Perform cosmetic procedures such as dermal fillers and Botulinum toxin treatments to enhance patient appearance.
- Manage patient data effectively through electronic health record systems.
- Collect and analyze data related to patient care and treatment outcomes.
- Provide health coaching to patients regarding skincare routines and preventive measures.
- Collaborate with other medical staff to develop comprehensive treatment plans for patients requiring critical care or inpatient services.
- Maintain accurate and detailed patient records, ensuring compliance with healthcare regulations.
- Stay updated on the latest advancements in dermatology practices and technologies.
Requirements
- Physician Assistant degree from an accredited institution
- Valid medical license to practice in the state of employment.
- Proficiency in performing sutures and other dermatological procedures.
- Strong skills in data management and collection related to patient care.
- At least 2+ years of dermatology experience
- Excellent communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare team members.
- Commitment to providing high-quality patient care while maintaining a compassionate approach.
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $100,660.00 – $190,000.00 per year
