Job SummaryThis role offers a consistent weekday schedule with daily patient appointments such as follow ups, new patients, and imaging results appointments. The position includes rotating office call and some hospital rounding to follow up on post-procedure patients. The position requires direct communication and strong collaboration skills, and an eagerness to learn new procedures, including but not limited to superficial vein procedures. Flexibility is essential—while the schedule is structured, the workday ends when all patients have been seen. Practitioner will be working alongside a highly supportive physician who is patient, an excellent teacher, and deeply committed to professional development. Vascular care has a steep learning curve, so success in this position will require independent study in addition to on-the-job training. You must be eager to learn and a self-starter to succeed in this role. Practitioner is responsible for achieving MGVSC goals and performing duties including but not limited to:
Qualifications:
- Georgia NP license
- DEA license
- Other required certifications
- Diagnostic study interpretation
- Positive attitude and teamwork
- Professionalism and compliance
Schedule:
- Full-time Monday–Friday, 1st call for answering service, alternating weekends, rounding, consultations, hospital follow-ups, and holiday coverage as needed.
- Maintain timely documentation: outpatient and inpatient notes within 48 hours.
Prescribe medications, order tests, collaborate with physicians, maintain evidence-based practice knowledge
Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant with current state licensure.
- Demonstrated expertise with EMR/EHR systems, preferably eClinicalWorks; proficiency in medical documentation is essential.
- Strong knowledge of medical terminology, anatomy knowledge, diagnostic evaluation techniques including laboratory experience and medical imaging interpretation.
- Ability to perform advanced procedures such as suturing and sterile processing while maintaining aseptic techniques.

Pay: $100,000.00 – $125,000.00 per year
