Nurse Practitioner Position Part Time
In need of a part time NP to perform X-rays and fluoroscopic guided injections of Hyaluronic Acid, and Platelet Rich Plasma to predominantly patients suffering from severe pain due to osteoarthritis in the knee and other joints. Responsible for diagnosing from X-ray information, injections and charting.
Orthopaedic experience is a plus but not a requirement. Training will be provided for the x-rays injections and for charting in the PracticeEHR software. Credentials with insurance is a plus but not required. CAQH enrollment is needed and/or will be accomplished.
The practice is exploring other procedures that can be offered to patients so flexibility is a must. Any training or courses for these procedures will be provided for those applicant(s) currently not having the expertise to perform them.
The applicant must know if they have a notice they must give their current employer and how many days that is. Any non-competes that have been signed with the current employer should be known as well.
The practice is located in the Osigian Blvd medical park area of Warner Robins. The position is for two or three days per week. The goal is to start at two days and rapidly ramp up to three as the increase in patients ramps up which will not be a problem with the number of people needing what we offer.
Excellent assessment skills should be demonstrated. Candidate should be flexible and have a strong desire to work independently and as a member of a team. A very positive attitude toward the patients seen is essential. We have an excellent staff of care givers and administrative personnel. it is an extremely gratifying work environment as we are ridding patients of debilitating pain.
We offer competitive pay commensurate with the Warner Robins area and with demonstrated experience. Bonuses and advancement opportunities will be given as the practice grows and expands in Middle GA.
It is desired that the applicant be ready to commit and begin work as soon as possible commensurate with necessary training and transition of insurance credentials from their current position.
