Pay Rate: $15.00 / Hour

What You’ll Do:
- Provide customer service to employees, visitors, and/or drivers by carrying out site-specific procedures, access support activities, and appropriate emergency response actions at a logistics and distribution location.
- Respond to incidents, alarms, and/or unusual activity in a calm, problem-solving manner, documenting observations and reporting security-related concerns according to site protocols.
- Conduct regular and random patrols throughout warehouse areas, loading docks, parking areas, and perimeter points to help to deter unauthorized activity and identify potential policy violations or operational concerns.
- Monitor entry and exit points, verify credentials and/or visitor information as directed, and support traffic flow for deliveries, trailers, and personnel movement across the location.
- Communicate with site contacts, team members, and/or local responders when needed regarding incidents, hazards, medical situations, or other security-related matters.
Minimum Requirements:
- Be at least 21 years of age.
- Customer service experience is preferred.
- Access control and badge experience is preferred.
- Being comfortable using a computer or tablet is preferred.
- X-Ray screening experience is preferred.
- Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
- Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
- As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
- Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
- A valid driver’s license will be required for driving positions only.
