Southeast Lung Associates is currently seeking a Physician Assistant (PA) to join our growing, progressive practice in Savannah, GA and see patients in our offices in Hinesville & Jesup . Outpatient role Pulmonary, sleep medicine, critical care experience preferred. GA license preferred. The PA will perform the duties of a Physician Assistant in an outpatient setting. Duties include the practice of pulmonary/ sleep disorders medicine, diagnosis and treatment of disease on an inpatient and outpatient basis within the confines of Southeast lung practice policy and Georgia law.
Utilizing advanced health assessment, knowledge and decision making skills, the physician assistant works independently and in collaboration with physicians and other health care professionals. Position requires high level of customer service skills to establish and enhance positive relationships with patients, co-workers and others. Current license as a Physician Assistant in GA preferred. Pulmonary experience preferred.
Skills:- Excellent communication skills, both verbal and written- Strong attention to detail and ability to multitask- Knowledge of medical coding and billing practices- Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
Requirements:- Master’s degree in Physician Assistant Studies- Current certification from the National Commission on Certification of Physician Assistants (NCCPA)- Active state license to practice as a Physician Assistant preferred

Duties– Conduct thorough patient assessments and evaluations to determine health status.- Develop and implement treatment plans in collaboration with supervising physicians.- Perform diagnostic procedures.- Provide health coaching and education to patients regarding their conditions and treatment options.- Document patient progress accurately in medical records while adhering to confidentiality protocols.
Experience– Previous experience in a medical office setting is preferred.- Proficiency in medical terminology is essential for effective communication within the healthcare team.- Experience with health coaching and patient education will be beneficial for this role.
