Full Job Description
A growing healthcare company is seeking a personable, motivated, and organized Physician Assistant or Nurse Practitioner to join our Marietta-based Georgia team. This role involves performing on-site health and wellness exams for first responders (Firefighters, EMS, Police), as well as industry and government clients.
We are looking for a medical professional who values client satisfaction, communicates clearly, and can work independently in a fast-paced environment.
Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive wellness exams and individual health counseling
- See up to 30 individuals per day
- Review and interpret EKGs, PFTs, audiograms and laboratory results
- Maintain professional, courteous interactions with clients
- Travel to on-site locations locally and out of state
Qualifications:
- Current Georgia PA or NP license in good standing
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Occupational Medicine, Emergency Medicine, or Urgent Care preferred (willing to train the right candidate)
- Strong proficiency in EKG and lab interpretation (required)
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Clean background check required
- Ability to multitask and work independently
Schedule & Travel:
- 20–40 hours per month, with potential for increased hours or full-time work
- Mix of local and out-of-state assignments
- Must be able to travel overnight 1–5 days at a time
- Opportunity to travel throughout the United States if desired
