**Job Overview:**
We are seeking a compassionate, qualified physician assistant to join our team from M–F 8:00 a.m.– 4:00 p.m. with a rotating on-call schedule. The ideal candidate has experience assessing and treating individuals in the specialty of Family Medicine/Primary Care . They will perform physical exams, obtain patient medical histories, order tests, plan treatments, and counsel patients. **Responsibilities:**
– Conduct thorough physical examinations, take patient histories, and order diagnostic tests to diagnose and treat medical conditions
– Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare professionals to develop and implement treatment plans
– Perform minor surgical procedures and provide patient education and counseling on preventive care and health maintenance
– Manage patients in various settings, including inpatient and outpatient care, as well as home care and hospice palliative medicine
– Stay up-to-date with the latest medical knowledge and guidelines, including those related to internal medicine, ICU, and radiation therapy
– Comply with all HIPAA regulations and maintain patient confidentiality
– Maintain accurate and detailed medical records
– Participate in quality improvement initiatives and contribute to a positive and supportive work environment
**Skills:**
– Strong knowledge of internal medicine and a commitment to staying current with the latest medical research and guidelines
– Experience working in a medical office and familiarity with electronic health records
– Proficiency with ICD-10 coding and airway management
– Ability to maintain patient confidentiality and adhere to HIPAA regulations
– Experience with home care and hospice palliative medicine
– Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
– Strong communication and interpersonal skills
– Experience with physical examinations and ability to interpret diagnostic test results
– Familiarity with radiation therapy and ICU protocols
– Strong commitment to providing high-quality patient care and a focus on patient safety and satisfaction
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $95,000.00 – $105,000.00 per year
