Overview:
We are seeking a skilled Physician Assistant to join our busy Vascular Surgery practice in Marietta, Georgia. This position offers an exciting opportunity to work in a fast-paced hospital and office environment, working side by side with our surgeons, and other physician assistants. First assist scrubbing in open cases, placing catheters independently, rounding on inpatients, managing consultations, triaging calls and periodic office. The practice has been part of the Atlanta community since 1985 and is made up of 13 surgeons and 10 PA/NP. We have 9 office locations and 160 employees.
The hospital and office based PA works closely with all of our 13 surgeons in a team approach. Time in the clinics, operating room and hospital rounds. Hospital credentials include Wellstar Kennestone, Wellstar Cobb, and Piedmont Cartersville. Prefer experience but are open to new graduates as well.
Hours include four 10 hour shifts a week and occasional weekend day call. No overnight call. Competitive package including 401K, health insurance and PTO starting after 30 days of employment. Pay dependent on experience.

Experience:
– Completion of an accredited Physician Assistant program.- Current PA license and certification.- Prior experience in the OR preferred.- Proficiency in patient assessment,- Familiarity with electronic health records systems like Epic.- Strong communication skills and the ability to work effectively within a multidisciplinary team.
