Nurse Practitioner or Physician Assistant – Oncology / Advanced Practice Provider (APP)

What You’ll Be Doing
- Conduct patient assessments, health histories, and physical exams.
- Write prescriptions for medications, blood products, and follow-up treatments.
- Evaluate clinical trial eligibility and interpret diagnostic test results.
- Collaborate closely with physicians to ensure optimal patient care.
- Manage acute and chronic patient needs, including family support and education.
- Participate in daily rounds, multidisciplinary meetings, and patient triage.
- Maintain detailed patient documentation and communicate with referring physicians.
- Promote oncology and specialty services through outreach and patient education.
About You
- Be able to do the job as described.
- Master’s degree required (from an accredited NP or PA program).
- Active Georgia APRN or PA-C license
- Prescriptive privileges or eligibility to apply.
- Oncology experience preferred (2-5 years), but specialty experience also considered.
- BLS certification required; AOCN-P certification preferred.
