Job Summary:
- As a licensed independent practitioner, you will be responsible for managing health problems and coordinating healthcare in accordance with state and federal regulations and nursing standards of care.
- Provide specialty care and services in various clinical settings, including hospitals, dialysis centers, and clinic offices.
- Assess, monitor, and document patient needs, and care provided.
- Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers to develop patient care plans.
General Accountabilities:
- Perform age-appropriate history and physicals for patients with various kidney diseases.
- Order and interpret diagnostic and therapeutic tests.
- Prescribe appropriate treatment modalities.
- Implement and monitor interventions to support patient stability.
- Collaborate with multidisciplinary team members. Ensure compliance with healthcare regulations, including HIPAA and OSHA.
Job Qualifications:
- Graduate of an accredited Nurse Practitioner Program.
- Current and active Advanced Practice Registered Nurse (APRN) Licensure.
- Current and active Basic Life Support (BLS) and Advanced Cardiac Life Support (ACLS) certification.
- At least one year of experience as a practicing Nurse Practitioner preferred.
- 1+ Yr. experience in Nephrology
Salary: Starting from $135,000.00 + per year, + Bonus Structure depending on experience
